Cotney serves the HVAC and Refrigeration industry nationwide. Tray Batcher serves as General Counsel to the Florida Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Contractors Association (FRACCA), where he provides legal services to FRACCA and its members. In addition, several Cotney staff members worked in the HVAC industry as technicians or estimators prior to joining our firm.  

Our experience in HVAC and Refrigeration extends to government affairs and lobbying as well, where we lobby for both FRACCA and the Florida Association of Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Contractors Association (FAPHCC).

Our firm drafts and reviews HVAC and refrigeration contracts and handles a variety of disputes relating to performance and construction defects as well as defective design.
