Paul joined Cotney in 2019, focusing his practice on immigration law and intellectual property law. Paul has extensive experience in proceedings before United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Consular Section of the United States Department of State and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). He has handled a variety of immigration cases, including Employment-Based Green Cards, EB-5 Investment-Based Green Cards (direct and through regional centers), many of the non-immigrant visa/status categories as well as Family-Based Green Cards and Removal Proceedings. As an intellectual property attorney, Paul has registered many trademarks for his clients and defended his clients from intellectual property infringement. Additionally, he has substantial experience in general business and real estate transactional matters. Paul has represented clients in both County Court and Circuit Court in the state of Florida. He also has experience in the foreclosure and real estate fields.

Paul graduated from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, located in Long Island, New York, in 2012. Prior to law school, Paul graduated from the University of Central Florida with two Bachelor’s Degrees in Accounting and Finance.

Throughout his career, Paul has developed a strong passion for the law and helping clients attend to their legal needs. As an immigration attorney, Paul has maintained an excellent approval rating while ensuring his clients receive the proper care and attention. As an intellectual property attorney, Paul prides himself on the zealous advocacy for his clients and the zealous pursuit of justice.
