Proper training will ensure workers prevent injuries as a result of bulky or overweight loads or those that obstruct the worker’s view. These same principles apply when workers are moving materials mechanically; however, workers must receive training to safely operate the mechanical equipment that is used to move materials. This will reduce the occurrence of overloading or tipping equipment and materials.
