Trent Cotney Donates a Scholarship to WSRCA Davis Memorial Foundation

As a part of their continued commitment to the advancement of the construction industry, Cotney Construction Law announces that founder and president Trent Cotney has donated a scholarship to the WSRCA Davis Memorial Foundation.

The foundation provides scholarships to students attending a trade school or pursuing a construction industry-related degree. The foundation also provides scholarships to employees, spouses, and children of roofing industry professionals. Additionally, the firm donated two hours of OSHA-related legal services and a copy of the Amazon best-selling book OSHA Defense for the Construction Industry. Both of which were auctioned off during the welcome party and silent auction of the Western Roofing Expo 2017.

Founded in 1995 in memory of Larry and Mary Davis,  the WSRCA Davis Memorial Foundation’s mission is to support education and the development of a well-educated construction industry. Since 1996, the WSRCA Davis Memorial Foundation has awarded over 80 scholarships and grants totaling more than $300,000.

The WSRCA Davis Memorial Foundation is one of a number of charitable organizations that Cotney Construction Law supports. This list includes the Florida Roofing & Sheet Metal (FRSA) Research and Education Foundation, National Women in Roofing, and Black Dagger Veteran’s Charity.
